Today Im going to talk about something not totally related to food expect on how we can use certain foods to control an ant problem. With summer on its way, and hot weather driving ants inside, many of you have commented to me that you are so frustrated with all the ants. And that you have to use an exterminator regularly, and even spray inside your home. But what I wanted to share today was an alternative to ridding your home of ants with out the use of harmful insect repellents. Because using these harmful pesticides especially indoors creates invisible air pollution. And with us having our windows shut and air conditioning on, those chemicals linger in the air for a long time. Plus if you are spraying directly on say your kitchen counter, there is going to be spill off or misting off onto other areas that you may later lay your food on, or say it trickles down to the floor and then your pet comes along and eats something off the floor.
